Columbus is a descendent of Nugget and was originally selected by Charles Zimmerman of Hop Union. Columbus is primarily used as a bittering hop and is sometimes referred to as CTZ. VQH Farms and Kinglake Farms will be growing Columbus to use as a dual purpose hop.
