Released by the USDA breeding program in Oregon in 1983 and bred in 1983, Mt.hood is a triploid cultivar and is an aroma type hop. It is similar to German Hallertau and German Hersbrucker and is named after the famous Oregon Volcano. On our farm Mt Hood presents with a mild herbal spice which hints at white pepper.
