Willamette is a triploid seedling of English Fuggle and was released by the USDA breeding program in 1976. For decades is was the most widely grown aroma variety in the united states. Willamette is named after the river that flows through Oregon’s hop growing region. On our farm Willamette presents with an orange citrus nose and a woodsy herbal background.
